Phone Directory

The Directory is how you find your way around Broken Compass.

We’ve removed many of the permanent icons that normally clutter a FiveM map. Instead, when you need something, open the Directory on your phone.

Looking for a mechanic? Need a tow? Want to find the bus depot, garbage services, taxi service, or trucking work? The Directory tells you where to go when you need it.

That means your map stays a map instead of becoming a wall of icons, while useful places around the city are still easy to find.

Need something? Check the Directory. Find it. Go there.

Getting Somewhere is Easy.

To get to any functioning place like a clothing shop you can simply search clothing. The Directory app will list things closest to you. When you find the shop you want just tap Set GPS and the marker will be placed on your map. You don’t even need to open the map, just get in a car and go!

Categories, Areas, Favorites and More!

Just below the search bar are some pill menus and tags. You can scroll any of them by holding SHIFT + Scroll wheel. You can also use the arrows off to the sides.

In this case we selected Jobs. Jobs are all the currently active Jobs available to anyone. You can take any of these jobs from the job center. Don’t worry the phone will get you there too!

In this example we have Vespucci Tow HQ visible.

Areas

For now highlighted areas are Del Perro Pier, Vespucci, and then more broader regions with Los Santos and Blaine Counties. In this case we selected Del Pero Pier. This will show you only places within the defined area.

Now that an area is selected yo can tap Show Area to reveal the location markers on your regular map. You can still double-click these icons and tap Set GPS.
